How to Import a Customer List & set up Templated Messages

Below is a step by step guide to importing a customer list into your web portal, as well as setting up templated outgoing messages.

Step 1

  • Click on the SMS tab on the left hand side of your screen to take you to the SMS Home Page.

Step 2

  • Click on the Contact Icon and then click on Import to start the process


โ€‹Step 3

  • Fill in the Import data fields and click Browse to import your CSV file

  • You will receive an email notification to let you know if Import was successful


โ€‹How the CSV file should look before Importing

  • As a minimum requirement columns A, C and H need to be populated (highlighted in yellow)

  • If you do not have a first name for column A then a copy of the mobile number can go into this field also

  • Delete row 1 with the header titles before you import the file

Step 4

  • When back in the SMS Home Screen to select your Imported list click Select Contact, then Search and then Select All

Templated Outgoing Messages

This function allows you to set up and save out going messages and is handy if you have a regular message you send to clients and want to save time. ย This is also a good way to protect you from any potentials errors in your messages.

Step 1

  • Click on the Templates Icon

Step 2

  • Set up your Templated Message name, then add in your message and click Add to save
